Outlines for Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector (INNOSKISSE )

Deadline Announcement
Open-ended Outlines for Innovation Projects for the Industrial Sector Choose

Objectives:

Objectives of the activity:

  • To provide advice to companies regarding which calls for proposals under Research Council programmes, or other funding schemes, may be relevant for their project.
  • To provide guidance to companies on what an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector is and what it requires.
  • To prevent companies from putting too much work into complete applications that are clearly not competitive.

Outlines for Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector:

The submission of project outlines gives companies the opportunity to receive advice and guidance from the Research Council prior to taking the decision to prepare a complete application for an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector. The submission of project outlines is optional.

The company will receive feedback on the outline from the Research Council. Feedback will typically advise the company on which programme’s call for proposals is considered most relevant for the project and offer guidance on what will be needed to prepare a complete application for an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector. Feedback will not comprise a scientific assessment of the research content of the proposed project.

The submission of a project outline entails no obligations for the applicant, nor does it entail any form of pre-qualification. Feedback provided on the outline by the Research Council does not bind the Research Council in any way with regard to future assessment of a complete application.

It is the responsibility of the company on its own to determine whether or not to prepare a complete application for an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector based on the feedback on its project outline. Complete applications will be assessed completely independently of any outline received.

The Research Council encourages companies to submit a project outline.

About Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector:

An Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector involves research activities that are necessary for the participating companies to succeed in implementing an innovation (value-creating renewal). The project must develop new knowledge through industrial research and/or experimental development. Projects may not include analyses of markets or competitors. Funding from the Research Council is intended to trigger efforts, actions and/or ripple effects that would not be achieved if the support had not been granted.
