Objectives:

The objective of the CGIAR fellowship programme is to fund Norwegian scientists who want to stay at a CGIAR institute. In principle scientists on all levels can participate, but priority is given to young scientists (Post docs).

The objective of CGIAR is to achieve sustainable food security and reduce poverty in developing countries through scientific cooperation and research related to activities within the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, policy and environment.

The CGIAR fellowship programme welcomes applications from young scientists at Norwegian research institutes and universities and university colleges. PhD students and senior scientists can apply for overseas fellowships for shorter stays.

2008: 3 mill NOK
2009: 4 mill NOK
2010: 3 mill NOK
