About the SAMRISK programme
The Research Programme on Societal Security and Risk (SAMRISK) seeks to enhance knowledge about threats, hazards and vulnerability, prevent undesirable events and strengthen crisis management, while at the same time safeguarding fundamental human rights and the protection of privacy. To achieve this, the programme works to promote the development of new knowledge, build networks and qualify research groups to participate in international cooperation, including under the Security theme of the EU Seventh Framework Programme.
