Communication Department
The department is responsible for information and research communication towards scientific communities, politicians and public administration, trade and industry, the media and the general public.

The department informs and generates discussion on the Research Council's strategies, plans, decisions, initiatives and services. It also publishes news about R&D communities and research findings, in both Norwegian and English.
The department is in charge of development and publication of the Research Council's external Internet website as well as the Research Council’s intranet and the research magazine Bladet Forskning. Graphic production, design and visualisation are other main tasks.
The department also houses the secretariat of the annual National Science Week, the Nysgjerrigper Science Knowledge Project for children, as well as the Proscientia project for young people aged 12-21.
