The Norwegian Liaison Office for EU RTD

The office is part of the EU RTD Department of the Research Council of Norway (RCN).

The Liaison Office provides

• a link to Norwegian science and research landscape from Brussels
• targeted information for Norwegian actors on EU RTD and innovation programmes
• contact and networking opportunities at EU level
• meeting facilities in the heart of Brussels EU District

Who are the services intended for?

• Norwegian actors and stakeholders from academia, business and public sector who seek information and guidance on EUs RTD and innovation efforts
• Organisations and actors at European level interested in the Norwegian Research and Innovation landscape

RCNs Brussels office generates added value through

• Close collaboration with interest group focusing on EU RTD and innovation in Brussels
  • Member of IGLO; Informal Group of Liaison Offices of national research organisations and funding agencies in Brussels
  • Located in the same premises as the Swedish, Swiss, German and Polish Liaison Offices
• Integrated part of the Norwegian science landscape and the Norwegian National Contact points(NCPs) through RCN (The research Council of Norway)
• Contacts with relevant European Institution actors
