New projects Leiv Eiriksson mobility programme (IS-BILAT) 2010
The result of the application processing for the Leiv Eiriksson mobility programme 2010 is now ready.
The Programme Board has selected 55 projects for funding, distributed on the following grant types:
• 40 personal overseas research grants from Norway to the USA/Canada
• 15 personal visiting researcher grants from USA/Canada to Norway
39 out of 55 projects are collaborations between Norway and the USA
while 16 out of 55 projects are collaborations between Norway and Canada.
Allocations
The allocation for 2010 amounts to NOK 7,2 million. Some of the projects have had their budgets reduced. Due to the limited resources for allocations many qualified projects were turned down.
Applications
The Programme Board processed a total of 138 applications with a combined budget of more than NOK 23 million.
Reply letters
These will be sent out to all applying institutions during the course of January 2010.
